Distillation in Solvent Extraction
For appropriate cooking and conditioning of the material which is done using flaker. Material is heated with the help of indirect steam in the vertical and multistage unit that is fabricated with shell and trays. Each stage and flow of material are automatically controlled by the gates attached to the mechanical system. For ensuring that the material is treated in a homogenous manner that leads to the prevention of burning at the bottom of the stage, agitator blades are used in the gearbox of the central shaft. - There are three ways in which distillation can be carried out. By doing so incremental concentration of miscella can be achieved at a fixed rate. Usage of centrifugal pump can be avoided by incorporating an U type siphon pipe to differentiate between each stage. This will not only minimize the consumption of power but will ensure constant miscella flow.
- Unwanted piping can be reduced, plant space can be minimized and compact designs can be rendered by Economizer with a built-in flasher. Miscella concentration can be increased up to seventy five percent by the flashing which is rendered by this design.
- Under the vacuum of seven hundred mmHg, the last stage of striping is carried out. It does not damage crude oil, color fixation and allows distillation temperature to decline.
